At Hotel Rambla, we declare our firm commitment to the prevention and rejection of the Sexual Exploitation of Children and Adolescents (ESNNA) in the tourism environment. In coordination with the Regional Government of Cusco (GERCETUR Cusco) and the Ministry of Foreign Trade and Tourism (MINCETUR), we enforce all national regulations to protect the integrity of minors.

1. Admission Control for Minors (Law N° 30802)

Under Peruvian Law N° 30802, lodging establishments are prohibited from allowing minors under the age of 18 to enter or stay without being accompanied by at least one of their parents, tutor, or legally authorized guardian.

  • Every minor must present their original identity card (DNI) or Passport at Check-in.
  • If the minor is accompanied by a non-parent guardian, a notarized authorization signed by at least one parent must be presented.
  • Failure to present the required documentation will result in the immediate denial of entry and registration.

2. Prevention of Sexual Exploitation (Law N° 29408)

In compliance with Article 25 of the General Tourism Law N° 29408, we state that:

"The sexual exploitation of children and adolescents is a serious crime in Peru. It is severely punished with imprisonment under our Penal Code. Hotel Rambla works actively to reject and expose any ESNNA-related activity."

3. Action Protocols and Duty to Report

Our team is trained to identify risk situations and apply emergency protocols. In the event of any suspicious activity or lack of documentation, we will immediately report to the corresponding authorities:

  • National Police of Peru (PNP) — Tourism Division: Reporting any violation of the laws protecting children.
  • GERCETUR Cusco: Collaborating with regional inspection and transparency campaigns.
  • Línea 100 / Línea 1818: Direct state emergency channels for the protection of minors.
